Candied Venison Chops Recipe

Preparation Time: 90 minutes
Serves 6


6 medium Venison Chops
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
1 Lemon, sliced
3 cups Ketchup
2 Tbsp Corn Oil
1/2 cup Water


Salt and pepper each venison chop. Brown chops in large skillet for 5 minutes each side. Remove venison and drain juice.

Cover each piece of meat with toppings as follows: Completely cover each piece with ketchup. Sprinkle each piece with brown sugar in the center of the chop, then add water to pan.

Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 hour. Remove from pan and serve with toppings intact.
