Reindeer Sausage Lasagna Recipe

1 pound Reindeer Breakfast Sausage
1 pound Ground Beef
1 cup Onion, diced
2 cans Tomatoes, diced
2 cans Tomato Sauce
2 small cans Tomato Paste
1/4 tsp Rosemary
6 Bay Leaves
1 clove Garlic, chopped
1/4 tsp Thyme
1/4 tsp Oregano
1 can Black Olives, chopped
1 pinch Salt
1 dash Pepper
1 large container Cottage Cheese
1 beaten Egg
3 pounds Mozerella Cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 pkg uncooked Lasagna Noodles


Brown reindeer sausage and ground beef in large pan with onions. Drain and set aside. Mix cottage cheese, beaten egg, and parmesan cheese together in small bowl. Cover and chill in refrigerator.

In large sauce pan, on low heat, mix all vegetables and spices. Add cooked meat & onion mixture. Simmer on low for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Lightly grease the bottom and sides of a large baking dish. Arrange single layer of uncooked noodles directly on the pan. Add shallow layer of meat sauce and top with sprinkle of cheese. Arrange another single layer of uncooked noodles. Top with with cottage cheese mixture. Repeat steps, layering noodles, meat sauce and cheese, and then noodles and cottage cheese mixture. On the final layer (top), layer noodles and a heaping of cheese.

Bake at 400°F for 45 minutes or until cheese is brown and bubbly. Serve with hot garlic bread.
