How to Prepare & Cook Bacon Wrapped Steaks
In all of the methods below, be sure to thaw your bacon-wrapped steaks properly under refrigeration. Once thawed, remove steaks from their individually wrapped packages and lightly season. For best results, never overcook your steak.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Use the pan method to cook bacon to your preferred doneness. Remove your steaks from your fry pan and place on oven safe plate or pan. Finish in the oven, and continue cooking until your desired temperature.
In a hot frying pan, melt a small amount of butter, then sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side. Turn the steak on it’s bacon side edge and began to lightly cook the bacon rolling in ¼ turns until lightly browned. Turn down the heat, cover, and continue cooking until your desired temperature.
Heat your grill with one side on high and the other on low. Using a clean cloth, dip or coat with vegetable oil and lightly cover the cooking surface of the grill. Place your steaks on the hot side of the grill for 1-2 minutes and turn your steak clockwise from noon to 3pm for another 1-2 minutes. This will give your steaks those professional grill marks. Turn your steaks over for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the hot side and place on the low side of the grill. Finish grilling until your desired temperature.
