Wild Buffalo Burgers

Wild Buffalo Burgers Recipe

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 lb Ground Buffalo Meat
2 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 cup Onion, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh Thyme, minced
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 Egg, lightly beaten
Vegetable Cooking Spray
1/2 cup Dry Vermouth
4 Hamburger buns
4 Lettuce leaves
4 Tomato slices
4 Onion slices

Directions:

Heat the oil a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 cup onion and saute for 3 minutes or until tender.

Combine sauteed onion, meat, fresh thyme, salt, pepper, and egg in a bowl, and stir well. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into burger patties.

Coat skillet with cooking spray, and place over medium-high heat until hot. Add patties and cook 3 minutes. Turn the patties over, then reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 1 minute. Add the vermouth, cover, and cook an additional 2 minutes. Serve patties on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments.
